About
From 2010-2016, James was a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in Cheatahs, signed to Wichita Recordings, during which time the group released two critically acclaimed albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and North America. After Cheatahs disbanded, James began to write and produce commercial and documentary music for a diverse array of clients.
As an artist and vocalist with the world-renowned choral collective Musarc, James has performed at venues and events including The Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, and The London Contemporary Music Festival. He holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Leeds, and in 2020 received his Master’s degree in Music, with Distinction, from Goldsmiths, University of London, at which institution he is currently undertaking a part-time Music PhD.
